Join us for an evening with our community partners and national executive as well as the annual business clothing drive.
BPW Calgary’s core programs and activities strive to transform women’s lives by empowering them to reach their greatest potential. The club has long standing partnerships with community organizations to improve conditions for women.
The following speakers will share the impact our projects and activities are having on women in Calgary:
- Tina Overwater, Stewardship Officer, Bow Valley College
- Theresa Jenkins, Donor Relations Manager, Servants Anonymous Society
- Lillian Vangenderen, Program Manager, Making Changes Association of Calgary
Meet one of our scholarship recipients and hear a personal experience to understand how we are harnessing the power of women by working in collaboration with our partners.
BPW Canada President, Cara Cote, will be in attendance along with BPW Saskatoon President, Tammy Richmond and Past President of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and BPW member, Monica Krueger.
Also, if you’re doing your spring cleaning, remember: “Someone’s Future is Hanging in your Closet.” Our annual drive supplies women with a choice of business clothing so they can make a confident transition into the workplace.
Please bring in your gently used business clothing and accessories including belts, purses, shoes, and jewellery to the April dinner meeting. New undergarments, tights and stockings are also appreciated.
