BPW Calgary is pleased to welcome Penny Hume, the Executive Director of Child and Youth Friendly Calgary and 2008/2009 Woman of Vision recipient, as our guest speaker on November 18.
Established in 1992, Child and Youth Friendly Calgary (CYFC) is dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities for youth to contribute to our community. Each year approximately 2,500 youth contribute 55,000 volunteer hours to 140 charitable organizations. Penny has been CYFC’s Executive Director since its establishment and has seen the organization evolve from its original mandate to accredit business that welcomed children and youth to an award-winning not-for-profit organization.
