Self Care & Well Being Event – May 8, 2024 (Online Event)

As we gear up for our upcoming meeting, we’re excited to announce that our May gathering will be held on May 8, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Calgary time. This meeting will take place online, allowing us to connect from the comfort of our own spaces.

With Mother’s Day approaching in Canada, we want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate all the incredible mothers among our members. We recognize the immense juggling act many of you perform daily, balancing work, business, family, and self-care. It’s a testament to your strength and resilience.

In line with this theme, our meeting will focus on the importance of self-care and well-being. We’ll delve into strategies to navigate the challenges of everyday life while prioritizing our mental, emotional, and physical health.

We’re thrilled to announce that Ewa Goudie, a fellow businesswoman, mother, wife, and wearer of many hats, will join us as a presenter. Ewa brings a wealth of experience from the health sector and education, offering valuable insights into how we can better care for ourselves amidst life’s demands.

Join us for an enriching discussion and practical tips that will empower you to embrace self-care as an essential part of your journey. Let’s come together to celebrate each other and honour our incredible roles in our personal and professional lives.

Business Meeting: Planning for the Future!

BPW Calgary’s vision and plans for 2024-2025 will be shared at our Business Meeting with members on April 10th at 6 pm at the Calgary Central Library in Room 3-10B. We invite you to bring your creative ideas so that together we may finalize our priorities and programming to accelerate progress for all women and spread inspiration along the way. If you have not renewed your membership, now is the perfect time to renew and join to have your voices heard. Please note that BPW Calgary is calling for Nominations for the following vacant positions on the executive board: First Vice President, Vice President Membership and Treasurer. Deadline for nominations was April 22 and has now been extended to May 15. Please email Nominations Chairperson Dawn Nason at dawnnason01@gmail.com to express your interest.
