Since 2003, BPW Calgary has invested over $40,000 to make a profound difference in the lives of students at Bow Valley College. Each year BPW Calgary awards three to four $500 scholarships to women at Bow Valley College.
Candidates are selected by the Bow Valley College faculty. In keeping with the BPW mandate of women helping women, selection is determined by academic achievement with preference given to female students with children. Our members fund the scholarship program through various endeavours, activities and events. Read our current endowment reports:

During our 90th Anniversary in 2017, BPW Calgary committed to training 90 female health workers to improve the healthcare of women and children through PLAN International.
BPW Calgary has also sponsored 6 local teen girls to attend the annual conference organized by the Young Women of Power to inspire female greatness. See the event promo.
In 2012, as the Club marked the World’s First International Day of the Girl, funds for two girls’ scholarships were raised through Plan Canada’s Gift of Hope to support two girls in reaching their full potential abroad through education and training.
