Candlelighting Ceremony 🕯

Kick off the new year with BPW Calgary as we meet the participants of the 2022 Mentorship Program. Hear directly about the importance of mentorship from Tracy Harrington, our Mentorship Chairperson, and others who have been involved in the program.
We will be listening to women who will share how these uncertain times have impacted them personally and professionally. BPW Calgary strives to create a safe and supportive space to encourage meaningful interactions. With information coming from all sides and limited opportunities to interact in person, our virtual events empower you to identify new prospects in the new world of work, engage in self care, and expand your network.
More than a decade ago our Mentorship Program was nominated for the Best Practices Award at the Institute of Canadian Citizenship. Find out how we are addressing the diverse needs of our membership and community.

On December 15 at 6:15 to 9:45, BPW Calgary members and guests will be celebrating the holiday season at the Jubilations Dinner Theatre. Summer of ’69 will take us through the story of peace, love, long hair and music that changed the world. We will be collecting movie passes for teens to support Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society with its Christmas list. Awo Taan is the only emergency women’s shelter in Alberta that is guided by Aboriginal traditional teachings. To learn more about them visit Awo Taan Healing Lodge Society.
To received a group discounted rate of $57.25, you must register on Evenbrite by Dec 1. After Dec 1, tickets can be purchased at $69.95 directly through the theatre website Here
This event is open to both women and men. Please note that public health restrictions will apply and proof of vaccination will be required.
